Below we have laid out, in the simplest terms possible, our user agreement, privacy policy and terms of use. We take your privacy seriously. We understand that the information you provide or that is inherently available is important to you and you want to understand how Partizion as a service takes this into consideration. We DO NOT share any of your information including your email or name with any third party. Additionally, we only collect information that is necessary to the product/service or that will enhance your experience. For example, we only ask for your name so that we can display it in your account and greet you by your name, whatever it is you choose to be called.
These days it is impossible to know where your data is, where it is going, and where it has been. We want to be completely transparent about data we collect and store. First of all, whenever possible, we store data locally on your browser; Meaning that only you have access to that data and if you choose to delete it, it will be deleted forever. When necessary, we store data on our servers to provide more stable, accessible, and reliable access to your own data. For example, when you create a collection of tabs in Partizion, we store each individual tab's title, url, and status data points like whether or not you'd like the tab to be pinned. This is so that you can always access your collections no matter what device you are accessing Partizion from. When we do store data on our servers it is done with a completely secure connection and uses the most modern technology for encryption and security. Furthermore, reiterating on the privacy paragraph above, we do not share, sell, or traffic any of this information with any third parties. At any point, if you'd like to delete your account, all of your data will be deleted with it.
We require your email upon signing up for two reasons.
Your privacy is important to us. It is Partizion's policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect from you across our website, https://www.partizion.io/, and other sites we own and operate.
We only ask for personal information when we truly need it to provide a service to you. We collect it by fair and lawful means, with your knowledge and consent. We also let you know why we’re collecting it and how it will be used.
We only retain collected information for as long as necessary to provide you with your requested service. What data we store, we’ll protect within commercially acceptable means to prevent loss and theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification.
We don’t share any personally identifying information publicly or with third-parties, except when required to by law.
Our website may link to external sites that are not operated by us. Please be aware that we have no control over the content and practices of these sites, and cannot accept responsibility or liability for their respective privacy policies.
You are free to refuse our request for your personal information, with the understanding that we may be unable to provide you with some of your desired services.
Partizion stores "tab configurations"; the title of the tab, the URL, and the favIcon image, in a database so it is available and accessible to our users at anytime. This means that as we build Partizion, you will be able to access your collections of tabs from different devices, browsers, and apps — not just locally on a chrome browser for example. We do not have access to nor do we store any information pertaining to user browsing activity. The only information that is stored is a result of your explicit action. In example, you choosing to save a tab.
